ESI launches its new probiotic line with an exclusive event in Genoa by TravelDesk

For the launch of its new Fermental line, ESI entrusted TravelDesk. Genoa became the setting for an exclusive event combining innovation, training, and leisure moments.

ESI, a company within the Sodalis Group and a leader in the phytotherapeutic, dietary, and natural food products sector, chose TravelDesk to organize the B2B launch event for its new probiotic line—an initiative that brought together more than 120 pharmacists and herbalists from all over Italy for an exclusive experience in Genoa.

The event took place over two days, with the same format replicated across two consecutive weeks, welcoming different guests at each appointment. Participants had the opportunity to discover the innovations of the Fermental line through training sessions, networking moments, exclusive experiences, and leisure activities, all connected by the common theme “Meet the Expert.”

The first group was welcomed at the evocative Cisterns of the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, where the networking lunch took place beneath the venue’s impressive arches. The following week, guests were instead welcomed at the Galata Museo del Mare, which hosted the welcome lunch in its striking picture gallery, overlooking the city’s Old Port.

After lunch, pharmacists and accompanying guests moved on to the Genoa Aquarium: while the pharmacists attended a training session led by ESI experts, the accompanying guests had the opportunity to explore behind the scenes of the Aquarium, guided by another expert—a marine biologist.

The experience concluded with a cocktail followed by a gala dinner immersed in the blue surroundings of the spectacular Shark Room. On the second day, guests traveled to Albissola to visit ESI’s production facility, gaining a close look at the technological and innovative processes behind the creation of the new products, while accompanying guests took part in a guided tour of the city to discover its historical and cultural highlights.

The event organization, managed down to the smallest detail by TravelDesk, included full logistical coordination: from online participant registration through a dedicated platform to ticketing, transfers, and activity management, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience. In addition, the agency oversaw event communications, creating a cohesive experience aligned with the “Meet the Expert” concept, which served as the common thread across all activities.
